In Loving Memory of Jaime Ann Lukity
November 24, 1968 - November 6, 2025
On November 6, 2025, surrounded by love, Jaime Ann Lukity peacefully left this earthly life after courageously facing cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. True to her spirit, she met every challenge with grace, humor, and a quiet strength that inspired all who walked beside her.
Jaime was a bright and compassionate presence in this world. She had a gift for making people feel seen, valued, and supported-whether they were lifelong friends or someone she had just met. Jaime walked gently upon the earth, yet her influence was unmistakably powerful.
Born on November 24, 1968, in Lancaster, California, Jaime spent her early years exploring the mountains with her father, who taught her to ski on the slopes of Mammoth Mountain. After a brief time in Ohio, her family planted roots in Zionsville, Pennsylvania, where Jaime's vibrant personality and creative spirit began to shine even brighter.
She had an impeccable eye for fashion and could discover hidden treasures in any thrift store she visited. Her love for music was legendary-eclectic, soulful, and deeply expressive. Prince reigned supreme in her heart, with ABBA coming in a very close second. Music was both her sanctuary and her celebration.
Jaime was also profoundly proud of her role in co-creating Vitality Natural Healthcare Center alongside her former husband and partner, Dr. Darin Mazepa. Together, they built a space centered on healing, compassion, and community-values Jaime embodied every day.
Of all her passions, none compared to the love she held for her children, Kaimana Paul and Maralei Pearl. They were the truest joy of her life, and she poured her heart into nurturing their dreams, their laughter, and their futures.
Jaime is survived by her loving husband Chris Shipley; her devoted mother Jackie Lukity; her cherished children Kaimana Paul Lukity-Mazepa and Maralei Pearl Shipley; her beloved siblings Christy Lukity and Michael Lukity; and her dearest friends Natalie Manchorov and Jessica Ramirez, whose unwavering love and support were a constant source of strength throughout Jaime's illness. She also leaves behind her treasured four-legged companions-Soka, Pretty Girl, Midnight, and Honey-who brought her comfort and joy.
She was preceded in death by her father Stanley Lukity, her paternal grandmother Helen McCartney, and her maternal grandparents Raymond and Betty Morrett. A celebration of Jaime's extraordinary life will be held in the spring of 2026. In true Jaime fashion, it will be filled with stories, laughter, and the music she adored-disco, post-punk, soul, and folk rock-reflecting a life lived with depth, warmth, and unforgettable style. Jaime's light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg.
