James Lee Reifinger Sr., age 90, of Emmaus, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026, at Fellowship Community in Whitehall. Born in Macungie, he was the son of the late Richard and Gladys (Hamsher) Reifinger.

A graduate of Emmaus High School, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. After his time in the service, he worked for Exide Battery for 30 years before retiring. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, liked to go out for rides on his Harley, and go fishing with his brother-in-laws in Delaware. He was also a lifetime member of the Macungie VFW.

He is survived by his children, Cynthia Ruth and her husband Mark of Emmaus, James Reifinger Jr. of Carbondale, IL, and Todd Reifinger of Allentown; his grandsons, Abraham and Jordan Ruth; his sisters, Nancy Stauffer, Mary Ann Shoemaker and her husband Clyde, Janet Butz, and Kathleen Berge; and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings, Richard Reifinger, Donald Reifinger, Ruth Munley, Blossom Gawthorp, and Thelma Moyer.

Services will be held privately.
