James Petrovich

James Petrovich, 93, of Second Street, Hellertown, died Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at VNA Hospice House in Bethlehem. He was husband to the late Phyllis (Strawn) Petrovich. Born in Steelton, PA, he was the son of the late Marko and Cecelia (Roxandich) Petrovich. He worked as a laborer at the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation for over 30 years retiring in 1975. He served in the Army and was a veteran of WWII. Survivors: Sisters, Julie Glosan of Hellertown, Violet Weger of Florida and Jennie, wife of Eugene Sheska, of Florida; and niece, Mary Jane Reimer of Bethlehem. Mr. Petrovich was pre-deceased by sisters, Gloria, Mary and Sadie; and brothers, Michael and Daniel. Services: At the request of the family, services will be private. Interment will be at Hellertown Union Cemetery. Contributions: May be made to the charity of one's choice.
