James Kash

August 10, 1947 — December 5, 2018

James Kash, 71, of Red Hill, a hard-working, kind hearted, gentle soul, died Wednesday, December 5, 2018, due to complications from cancer treatment. James Joseph Kash came into this world on August 10, 1947 in Philadelphia, to James and Dorothy Kash. He was a 1967 graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School. Jim Kash was an electrician by trade, working 32 years as an electrician for Centennial School District in Warminster, PA. He was also a member of Bassmasters and the Milford Township Fish and Game Commission. James shared 43 years of marriage with the love of his life, Sandi, his “bride.” Jim and Sandi enjoyed the company of each other every day, and enjoyed traveling to Lake Keuka whenever they had the opportunity. An avid hunter and fisherman, he shared his love for the outdoors with his family and friends, especially his brother Joe and his friend Sonny, with whom he enjoyed many hunting and fishing trips. Jim was a man you could count on in good times and in bad for a hot cup of coffee, a good joke, a kind word, and an honest smile. Known in his circle to be a talented “tinkerer,” he built his own street rod, a 1948 Ford F1 pick-up, himself in his custom-built garage. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Segur) Kash, his sister Kathy Ricca, and her husband Joe Ricca, his sister-in-law Rosanna Kash, and many loved nieces, nephews, and a grand niece. He was predeceased by his father James Kash; his mother, Dorothy (Geist) Kash; a sister, Dorothy (Kash) Esbensen; and brother Joseph Kash. Memorial services will be held at Lake Keuka, NY in a private memorial. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
