James F. Hein, 77, of Bethlehem, died June 25, 2010 surrounded by his beloved family. He was the widower of Barbara (Behler) Hein who died in 1986. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late William Henry and Margaret Mae (Ackerman) Hein. James served his country honorably in the Army. He was a diesel mechanic for Modern Transfer in Allentown for 25 years. Following that he worked for Durkee Foods in Bethlehem for 25 years. He was a member of the Hell-ertown Legion. Survivors: Daughter, Tammy Brader (Joseph) with whom he resided; Sons, James (Karen) of Bethlehem, David (Linda) of Allentown, and Richard Behler (Barbara) of Williamsport; siblings, William, Thomas, Rose Hart, all of Bethlehem, Cathy Hein of Allentown, and Eleanor O’Connell, and Virginia Serbia, both of Hellertown; 11 grand-children; and 8 great grand-children. He was pre-ceded in death by brothers Russell and Robert. Services: Graveside, 1 P.M., Monday, Nisky Hill Cemetery, Bethlehem.
