James Glackin

July 29, 1972 — October 1, 2019

James C. Glackin, 47, of Pennsburg, passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Filomena (Lombardi) Glackin. They celebrated 21 years of marriage in June. Born in Meadowbrook, he was the son of James Charles and Anna Marie (Mankevich) Glackin of Red Hill. He held two master’s Degrees in the field of Education and was employed as a teacher in the Roxborough High School where he taught freshman Algebra and twelfth grade Statistics. James attended Community Bible Fellowship Church in Red Hill. He was a Scout Master for Troop 90 in Red Hill. He was also serving his first term as a member of the Upper Perkiomen School Board. Surviving with his wife and parents are his children: Francesca, Carolena, James Charles, and Angelina; and his sister, Christine, wife of Kenneth Hopkins of Gilbertsville. All are invited to gather with his family from 2 – 4 PM on Sunday at Community Bible Fellowship Church, 426 Main Street, Red Hill, PA 18076. A Celebration of his life will follow at 4 PM in the sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his family in care of the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073.
