James Carr

James D. Carr, 75, of Perkiomenville, died March 6, 2009 in his home surrounded by his beloved family. He was the loving husband of Barbara Louise (Bartman) Carr. Born in Grand Rapids, MI, the oldest of 10 children of James and Caroline (Woodward) Carr. He was the factory manager at the former Keystone Transformer in Pennsburg for 22 years before retiring in 1993. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. James is survived by his wife, a son Patrick and his wife Lori of Pottstown, daughters Sharon wife of William Saulsberry of Northeast, MD, and Tamara Walter of East Greenville, Robin wife of James Williams of Leesburg, FL, and a son Chistopher Carr of Pottstown; brothers Larry and David of Michigan, sisters Sherry Vanderplow and Carol Hatchew also of Michigan; grandchildren, Jennifer, Derek, Amber, Brandon, Shane, Racquel, and Farrah; and five great grandchildren.
