Jaime Rivera-Gonzalez Jr., 50, of Phillipsburg passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Akers-Gonzalez. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of Jaime Rivera-Gonzalez Sr., of Oxford, NJ, and the late Bonnie Lou (Melberger) Rivera-Gonzalez. Before becoming ill, he worked for Readington Farms in Whitehouse Station, NJ. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and camping, and going on nature walks. His family meant everything to him. He loved all of his animals, especially cookie, his bearded dragon, and Lola, his bunny. He would do anything for anyone. He had a very loving heart and a kind soul to everyone. Along with his wife, he is survived by his children: Rebecca, Neveah, Eternity, Savannah, Destiny, Brandon, Phillip, Jaime III and his wife Melissa, and Tyler; and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters: Sandra Gonzalez of Washington, NJ and Lisa Gonzalez of Belvidere, NJ; his mother-in-law, Helen Buck Bennett; and many nieces and nephews.
