Isabelle Breyer

Isabelle “Issy” L. Breyer, 84, of Sumneytown, died December 10, 2007 at the Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of Charles H. Breyer. The couple was married 65 years this past September. Born in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Haggerty and Lillian (Martin) Haggerty. She was a seamstress for over 40 years, first at the former Daut Manufacturing, Red Hill and then at the former Sumneytown Pants Factory, before retiring in 1988. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church Sumneytown. Surviving with her husband, is a son, Alan, of Pennsburg; a daughter, Jo Ann, wife of Shelby Gordon, of Boca Raton, FL; a sister, Lillian Delaney, of Red Hill; a step-sister, Edith Craner, of Phoenixville; 2 granddaughters: Mary & Sarah, and a great-granddaughter, Martina.
