Isabel Mock

Isabel C. Mock, 72, of Hellertown, passed away March 17, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the widow of Clarence Mock. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Helen (Powell) McShane. She was a clerk at the Northampton County Courthouse. Isabel attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Better known as Aunt Issy, she was a devoted caretaker to 19 foster children and a beloved babysitter to many. She loved camping at Promised Land, PA as well as playing bingo. She will be remembered most for her fabulous sense of style, her perseverance through sickness, and her enormous heart. Surviving are children: William, at home, and Kyla Szemenyei, of Carlisle, PA; siblings: Helen, wife of Richard Manderbach, of Oley; and James McShane, of Bethlehem Twp. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Pamela and siblings: Hugh and Maryalice. Services: A Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM on Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, 1817 First Street, Bethlehem, PA 18020. Viewing from 9-10:30 AM at church. Interment is private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main Street, Hellertown, is in charge of arrangements.
