Irma Wolf Smith

Irma I. (Renninger) Wolf Smith, 89, of Perkiomenville, and formerly of Center Valley, died February 4, 2010 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Quakertown. She was the widow of Harry B. Smith and William A. Wolf. Born in Frederick, she was a daughter of the late Augustus B. and Elsie E. (Stengel) Renninger. She worked in accounting for about 15 years at the former Jones Motor Co., Spring City, until retiring in 1979. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sassamansville. Surviving: are 2 sons: Carl W. Wolf, of Barto, and Robert A. Wolf, of Boyertown; 3 grandchildren: Steven, Rebecca, and Benjamin; and 4 great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Ryan, Rachel, and Zoe; a brother, Earl L. Renninger, of Obelisk; and 3 sisters: Kathryn Freed, of Frederick; Helen M. Mercer, of Obelisk; and Fern D. Hein, of Gilbertsville. She was pre-deceased by siblings: Claude, Willard, and Allen Renninger; and Mabel Stetler. Services: will be on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. A viewing will be from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Sassamansville. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Shares of Faith, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1809 Hoffmansville Road, Sassamamsville, PA 19472.
