Illo Viola Treffinger

Illo Viola Treffinger, 84, of Green Lane, passed away July 24, 2022. She was the widow of Donald Treffinger, who passed three days earlier. Born in Red Hill, she was the daughter of the late Franklin & Viola (Freed) Smith. Illo was a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and was employed for many years in the Shipping Department of the former Brown Printing Company, East Greenville. Illo was a member of New Goshenhoppen UCC. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW # 5954, Red Hill. Surviving are her children: James (Rick) Krupp, of Pennsburg and Susan Sharrow, of Palm; her step-daughters: Sharon, wife of Alvin Schultz of Emmaus, and Wendy Adam of Pennsburg; and her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. A joint Graveside Service for Donald and Illo Treffinger of Green Lane will be on Wednesday, August 17th at 11 AM at the New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, East Greenville.
