Howard Rex

Howard F. Rex, 82, formerly of Allentown and Drexel Hill, died February 7, 2012 at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. He was the widower of Ingrid ( Lehner) Rex. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Douglas and Edith (Kaup) Rex. He served his country honorably in the Army during the Korean War. He was employed by AARP at the Gross Towers, Allentown until retiring. Before that, he was an underwriter for the National Capitol Life Co., Allentown and before that for the Philadelphia United Life Insurance Co. Surviving is a son, Douglas Rex, and his wife, Gina, of Bethlehem; and grandchildren, Megan and Erik. Services will be 10 AM on Saturday at Calvary Bible Fellowhip Church, Coopersburg. A viewing will be from 9-10 AM at church. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hellertown, is in charge of arrangements.
