Homer K. Kline, 79, of Main Street, East Greenville, died February 12, 2011. He was the husband of Miriam (Weaver) Kline. Born in Hoppenville, he was a son of the late George and Mary (Kulp) Kline. He was an Army medic during the Korean War. He was employed at Ryder Truck for many years. Prior to that, he worked at the Boyertown Body Works. He attended Peace Mennonite Church, East Greenville, where he tended the outdoor gardens. He enjoyed taking long walks, and driving his antique cars: a 1965 Pontiac Bonneville convertible and a 1978 Chrysler Imperial LaBaron. He was very particular and fussy about his cars' maintenance. He especially looked forward every year to Das Awkscht Fescht and the Wheels of Time Car Shows, and the cruise nights in Macungie. He went to McDonald's in Pennsburg for coffee every morning for years Surviving with his wife, are sisters: Grace, wife of Millard Styer of Prompton, PA and Shirley Studenroth, of Red Hill. He was pre-deceased by brothers: George, Linwood, and Lloyd Kline; and sisters: Viola Miller, Hulda Kolb, May Nester, and Marian Kuszyk. Services will be private.
