Hester Elizabeth Denure (Idell)

Hester Elizabeth DeNure, 79, of Pennsburg, passed away April 4, 2019. Born in Paterson, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Hester (Flanagan) Idell. Hester grew up in Elmwood Park, NJ and later moved to Prospect Park with her husband, Don DeNure. There, she coached her daughters’ softball teams, was active in the Democratic Party, and enjoyed crafting. Later, she worked in Customer Services for ADT before moving to the Pennsburg area.

Surviving are children: Beth, wife of Chuck Patterson, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; Donna, wife of Warren Olsen,of Pennsburg; and Don DeNure, of North Wales; and grandchildren: Nicole and Mason. She was pre-deceased by a sister: Suzanne Brennan.

Memorial Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg is in charge of arrangements.
