Helen Snyder

April 4, 1938 — June 7, 2013

Helen E. Snyder, 75, of Red Hill, passed away June 7, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Paul F. Snyder Jr. Born in Upper Milford Twp, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Hiestand) Rothenberger. As a young woman, she worked at the Stauffer Glove Factory, Palm. Helen owned her own hair salon in East Greenville from 1970-1989. She then was employed at the Upper Perk Child Care, Red Hill for 12 years before retiring. Surviving with her husband, are children: Scott, of Quakertown; Melissa, and her companion, Edward Karpinski III, of Pottstown; and Brian, of Barto; Sisters: Joanne, wife of Richard Noel, of Willow Grove; Brenda, wife of Kenneth Miller, of Bethlehem; and Dawn, wife of Curtis Kistler, of Adelaide, Australia; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Fern. Services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday at Old Zionsville United Church of Christ, 5981 Fountain Road, (PO Box 215) Old Zionsville, PA 18068.
