Helen Florence Skerrett

Helen Florence “Penny” Skerrett, 83, of Longswamp Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10th, 2025. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Gray) Shearston. Helen grew up in Bethlehem and graduated from the Moravian Seminary for Girls. After graduating from Bryn Mawr Nursing School, she spent the next 50 years dedicating her life to caring for others spending the last 30 years of her career at Bryn Mawr Terrace in Bryn Mawr, Pa.

Helen is survived by her children: Christopher Clement and his wife, Samantha, of West Norriton, Michael Clement and his wife, Stella of Albuquerque, NM, Heather Skerrett Henderson and her husband, Jeff of Woodbury, CT, and Jason Schneider and his husband, Travis of Macungie; and grandchildren: Erin, Ryan, Sarah, and Alex.
