Helen Schriffert

Helen B. Schriffert, 90, formerly of First Avenue in Hellertown, died, Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She was the wife of John J. Schriffert who passed away in 1958. Born in Hellertown, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Dolhan) Bernhardt. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 494 Vine Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015. She was a seamstress and supervisor for the former Casco Manufacturing in Hellertown for over 35 years retiring in 1982. Survivors: Sons, Edward and Dennis, both of CT; four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was pre-deceased by four brothers, Ted, Charles, William, and Walter, and five sisters, Julia, Ida, Elizabeth, Marie, and Beatrice. Services: Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main Street, Hellertown. Viewing from 9-10:00 AM. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Hellertown.
