Helen Sabo

Helen Kathryn “Kass” Sabo, 86, of New Jersey Avenue, Hellertown, died October 12, 2009 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the widow of Julius Sabo. Born in Hellertown, she was a daughter of the late former Northampton County Superintendent of Schools, Robert N. Taylor, and the late Helen (Buck) Taylor. Kass graduated from Hellertown High School and worked for several years as a clerk at the former Bethlehem Steel. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Hellertown. Surviving: is a son, William T. Sabo, and his wife, Cynthia, of Center Valley; a brother, Robert N. Taylor, of Dunellen, FL.; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Abernethy. Services: will be at 11 AM on Friday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hellertown. A viewing will be from 10:30-11 AM Friday. Interment will follow the services at Union Cemetery, Hellertown.
