Helen Lukacs

Helen C. Lukacs, 90, of Hellertown, died August 28, 2009 at Saucon Valley Manor. She was the widow of Joseph Lukacs. Born in Hellertown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Donchez) Bartakovits. She was a machine operator at the former Champion Spark Plug Co., Bethlehem for 26 years before retiring in 1964. She was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Hellertown and a member of their Senior Citizen’s Group. Surviving: A brother, Stephen Bartakovits, of Leithsville; and a sister, Theresa, wife of Louis Messics, of Wassergass; nieces & nephews. Services: Will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hellertown, followed by Mass at 11 AM at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Hellertown. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
