Helen Martha Kugler

Helen M. Kugler, 96, of Hellertown passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family on March 11, 2021. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Torello and Veronica (Zapp) Rayni. Her beloved husband Joseph passed away in October of 2020. Helen was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Senior Center as well as being an active volunteer at church. She was a group leader of Weigh In Now, in Hellertown. Helen was known for her daily walks and dinners. She also volunteered at New Bethany Ministries in the soup kitchen. She is survived by children: Kathleen, of Topeka, KS, James, of Hellertown, Fred, and his wife Lee Ann, of Gilbertsville, Marie, wife of Patrick, of Bethlehem, David, and his wife Lisa, of Salisbury, Thomas, and his wife Mary, of Jim Thorpe; 12 grandchildren: Joseph, Kristin, Andrew, Caitlin, John, Kelly, Kimberly, Meghan, Melissa, Matthew, Alexandria and Michael; 8 great grandchildren: Tyler, Porter, Murphy, Max, Brody, Anna, Andrew and Omar. She was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia and her sister, Rose Manone. There will be a Memorial Mass at 10:30am, Friday March 19, 2021, at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, 1408 Easton Rd. Hellertown, PA 18055. Family and Friends are invited to a calling from 9-10am at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main St. Hellertown, PA 18055. Interment will follow at The Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
