HELEN L. COMPTON Helen Louise (Blanchard) Compton, 85, of Green Lane, died Thursday, August 28, 2008 in Grand View Hospital in Sellersville. She was the loving wife of Richard H. Compton. Born in Attleborough, MA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Foster) Blanchard. She and her husband owned and operated Compton Products in Nasonville, RI for many years until retiring in 1965. Surving with her husband, Richard, are daughters, Priscilla, wife of Howard Crafford of Maine; Patricia Rogler and Helen Busby both of Massachusettes; and Nancy, wife of Merrill Derstine of Harleysville; sisters Dorothy of Florida, and Florence, of Massachusettes; six grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by sisters, Norma and Doris, and brother, Charles. Services are private at the request of the family.
