Hazel Beard

Hazel J. Beard, 88, of Red Hill, passed away June 2, 2020 at the St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the widow of Galen “Dick” Beard. Born in Pennsburg, she was a daughter of the late Linford and Anna (Rosenberger) Cressman. Hazel was a member of Pennsburg United Church of Christ, and a life-time member of the Red Hill Sportsman’s Assn. Surviving are children: Bonny Mallon, of Schwenksville; and Glenn Beard, and his wife Estella, of Red Hill; grandchildren: Steve, Michael and his wife Jerri, Erin, Grant and Samantha; and siblings: Gerald Cressman, and his wife, Judi, of Red Hill; Bruce Cressman, and his wife, Shirley, of Pennsburg; Doris Renninger, of East Greenville; and Mary, wife of James Hunsberger, of Souderton, and her parakeet Cookie. She was pre-deceased by an infant daughter, Susan Ann, and a brother, L. Eugene Cressman. Graveside Services will be held privately. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg is in charge of arrangements.
