Harvey Unangst

Harvey J. Unangst Harvey J. Unangst, 98, formerly of Hellertown, died March 30, 2008 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s. He was the widower of Myrtle (Behler) Unangst. Born in Lower Saucon Twp., he was a son of the late Alvin and Sallie (Rinker) Unangst. He was a carpenter, first for the former Frank Chiles Builder, in Wassergass, PA, and then operated his own carpentry business. He was a member and former consistory member of Lower Saucon United Church of Chirst, Hellertown. He was a member of the Hellertown / Lower Saucon School Authority during the construction of a new high school; he helped organize the Hellertown Little League in 1952 and was a past president. He was a former member of the Hellertown Lions Club Surviving: Son, Larry of Hellertown; and a sister,Miriam Ritter, of Allentown. He was pre-deceased by brother, Addison in 1982. Services: Private.
