Harold O. Woodruff Jr., 84, of State College, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025. Born in Paterson, NJ he was the son of the late Harold Orville Sr. and Adeline (Geiger) Woodruff. He was a proud member of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. Harold then earned his Masters Degree in Vocational Industrial Arts, and was Coordinator of Library Services for People with Disabilities, at Penn State. He will always be remembered as someone who helped people. His smiling face and witty humor will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his children: Barry Woodruff, predeceased by his wife, Brenda, Alby Woodruff, Wendy and Santiago Lopez, Cindy Caldwell, and Harold Woodruff III and Kristi Barr; grandchildren: Irene, Rudy, Juana (Christian), Jennifer (William), Christina, Clayton (Megan Bowersox), Ashleigh (Jeremy), Kyle, Kayla, and Tristen; great grandchildren: Jayce, Cillian, Benjamin, Connor and Alec; and brother: Donald Woodruff (Jill Kotcher); his nephew: Eric Woodruff (Graziella) niece: Christine Woodruff; great niece: Clara Woodruff; and a family friend and lifetime partner: Kathy Carey.
