Harold W. Shermer

Harold W. (Bill) Shermer Jr. 85, Zionsville, formerly of Red Hill, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 10th, 2021. He was the beloved husband of the late Elsie Jane (Newton) Shermer. Born in West Rockhill Twp, PA, he was the son of the late Harold and Agnes (Derbyshire) Shermer. Bill served our country honorably in the US Army. He worked for Knoll Int before becoming Operations Manager for Germantown Tool & Machine Works until his retirement in 2000. He loved woodworking, making stained glass and being with his family. He is survived by his children: Bradley W. Shermer of Delaware, Bonnie S., wife of Lonnie L. Crawford of Bloomsburg, Brenda E., wife of Michael W. Swan of Canada; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; his siblings: Barbara Ann, wife of Peter S. Gill of East Coventry, Carol S., wife of Charles J. Koch of Stone Harbor, NJ.
