Harold Heil

Harold J. Heil, 90, passed away January 21, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (Eltz) Heil. They were married 68 years this past September. Born in Macungie, he was a son of the late James and Verna (Kerchner) Heil. Harold served in the Army during WWII. He was employed for many years at the former Pillsbury Co. in East Greenville. Harold was a memer of Pennsburg United Church of Christ. He was a member and former fire fighter for the Pennsburg Fire Co. Surviving with his wife, are children, Roger Heil, and his wife, Linda, of Pennsburg; and Mary Ann Buhman and her partner, Dennis Betz, of Whitehall; siblings: Jacob of Macungie; James of Egypt; and Dorothy Rohrbach, of Alburtis; grandchildren: Jeremy and Roger Jr; and great-grandchildren: Jenna, Corinna & Cassidy. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Lillian Heller, and a brother Donald. Services will be at 2PM Wednesday at Pennsburg United Church of Christ, 775 Main St, Pennsburg, PA 18073. All are invited to a viewing in Miller Fellowship Hall of the church from 1-2PM. Interment will be private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
