Harold Douglas Frye Sr., 82, of East Greenville, passed away October 21, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Olivia Bernice (Artis) Frye. They were married 56 years this past August. Born in Charlottesville, VA, he was a son of the late Harold Elllis Frye and the late Dorothy Virginia (Payne) Frye. Harold was an executive chef for several restaurants throughout his career, including the English Inn in Charlottesville, VA and the Mount Laurel Restaurant in Oak Hill, WV. He was a Jehovah’s Witness, belonging to the Green Lane Congregation, and formerly the Landale Congregation. His passion was cooking. He especially enjoyed chocolate chip cookies. He also enjoyed watching TV shows like the Price is Right, and football and baseball. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren. Surviving with his wife; are children: Patricia Elaine, wife of Michael Garcia; and Lorraine Elmira, wife of Bert Muniz, all of East Greenville; Harold Douglas Frye Jr. and Anthony Marcellus Frye, and his wife Raquel, all of Pottstown; and Mary-Louise, wife of Raymond Church, of Quakertown; a sister: Shirley May Fredericks, of Elizabeth, NJ; 8 grandchildren: Caleb, Jermaine, Jessica, Joshua, Latoya, Leah, Shakerah, and Sierra; and 5 great-grandchildren: Charlee, Josiah, NeVaeh, Zaria, and Zittarose. He was pre-deceased by brothers: Sterling and Linwood Frye; and a great-grandson, Savion. Memorial Services will be at 2 PM on Saturday, October 28th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1037 Spur Road, Souderton, PA 18964.
