Gordon Leister

Gordon W. Leister, 86, of Pennsburg, died October 9, 2011 at Quakertown Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Marion May (Hoffman) Leister. Born in East Greenville, he was the son of the late Wilmer and Stella (Gerhard) Leister. He was a tube splicer for the former Firestone Co., in Pottstown. Prior to that, he was a machine oiler for SKF in West Point. His first employer was the former Jacob Aircraft in Pottstown. Survivors: Daughter, Margo, wife of Gary Babel of East Greenville; grandsons, Ryan (Samantha), and Jason (Lori); and great grandchildren, Tyler, Destiny, Rayn, David, Kenley, Kaylyn, Gavin, and Kylie. Services: 12:00 P.M., Saturday, October 22, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Red Hill. Call at the church from 11 - 12 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
