Gloria Tucker

Gloria J. Tucker, 57, of Shimersville Road, Emmaus, died February 1, 2009 at Pennsburg Manor. She is the wife of James D. Tucker. Born in Sellersville, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Esther (Bergey) Kern. She was employed at Sharp Pharmaceuticals, Fogelsville for the past 5 years. Before that, she was employed at the former Hershey Foods, Pennsburg, and before that she worked for many years at Nyce Printing, Vernfield. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Pennsburg. Surviving with her husband, are siblings: Marlene Bivighouse, of Red Hill; Jane Avender, of Perkasie; Rose Nace, of Middlebury Center, PA: Russell Kern, of Sellersville; Larry Kern, of Quakertown, and Brian Kern, of Pennsburg, 12 nieces and 5 nephews. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Tina Marie Hallman, an unborn grandchild, and a nephew, David. Funeral Services will be on Thursday at 11 AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. A Viewing will be from 10-11 AM Thursday. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Quakertown.
