Glenn Arthur Gold

Glenn A. Gold, 82, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at his home in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Elinore (Wieand) Gold, with whom he enjoyed 57 years of marriage. Glenn was the son of the late Ray and Grace (Kiefer) Gold. He received a B.S. from Moravian College and a Master’s from Lehigh and worked at Bethlehem Steel as a chemist in Research and Quality Control. He loved working in his yard, enjoying the birds and butterflies that made their homes in his beautiful gardens. His hobbies included fishing, radio control airplane flying, and bowling. In recent years he became an avid Pokémon Go player. Survivors: Son, Timothy Gold (Codie) of Bethlehem; daughter, Kathleen La Greca (Jeffrey) of Bear, DE; sister, Debbie Sheridan of Alexandria, VA; brother, Gary Gold (Susan) of Florida; beloved grandchildren: Heather Gold, Timothy Gold II, Gregory Gold, and Elizabeth La Greca. Service: A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM Friday, July 2, at Trinity Great Swamp UCC, 9150 Spinnerstown Rd, Spinnerstown, PA 18968. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM.
