Gladys Wohlbach, 93, of Hellertown, passed away on November 30, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley H. Wohlbach for over 55 years before his death in October. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Jendricks) Hafner. She worked in the textile industry at several factories in the Bethlehem area. Gladys was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Hellertown. She was also a longtime quilter and past president of the quilter’s group at Frieden’s Lutheran Church in Center Valley. She was a member of the Harmony Grange #1962 in Pennsville and the Upper Saucon Senior Center. Survivors: A brother, Wilbur J. Hafner of Bethlehem; and nieces and nephews: Richard Hafner, Shirley Fulmer, and Nancy Smith all of Bethlehem, and David Hafner, of Terre Hill. She was predeceased by a brother Ralph when he was very young. Services: will be held privately. She will be interred with her parents and brother in Frieden’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Dewey Fire Company and Ambulance Squad, 502 Durham St., Hellertown, PA 18055.
