Gilbert T. Boettner

Gilbert "Butch" T. Boettner, 75, of Bechtelsville, passed away suddenly at home on Oct. 11, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Pollinotz) Boettner. They were married 36 years this past March. Born in Shanesville, he was a son of the late Gilbert & Mabel (Dillaplane) Boettner. Butch served in the Navy during Peacetime. He was in line construction for the IBEW, Local 126, Norristown for over 50 years. He was also the owner of Boettner Auto Reconditioning, Bechtelsville until 2003. Butch enjoyed building and watching race cars, he shot professional archery, and he was an avid fisherman. He was a member of the Orioles, the "Hooks", and the VFW, all of Boyertown. Surviving with his wife, are children: Robert Boettner, of Upper Pottsgrove; John Boettner, and his wife Tracy, of Boyertown; Jackie Bergey, of Ocean City, MD; Kathy, wife of James Darrah, of Pottstown; Harold Faust, and his wife, Karen, of Lancaster; Pamala Boettner, of Pottstown; and Danielle Sykes, of Pottstown; 9 grandchildren: Dane, Ashley, Zoltan, Casey, Erika, Corey, Josh, Ryan, and Trevor; and 1 great-grandson, Axel. He was pre-deceased by a daughter, Laurie, and brothers, Jack and James. Services will be at 8 PM Tuesday, October 13th at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg.
