Gertrude Barron

Gertrude M. Barron, 81, of Hellertown, died May 30, 2011. She was the widow of Joseph E. Barron Sr. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Gertrude (Teichert) Sheridan. She was a Nurse for Lehigh Valley Hospital for 10 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Hellertown. Survivors: sons: Steven (wife Christine), of Atlanta, GA, and Joseph Jr., of Hellertown, a daughter Marie, wife of Douglas King, of Hellertown and a daughter in law, Deborah (Philip) of Mannington, VA; a sister, Kathleen Hartman of Palmer, AK; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, Philip and Douglas, and siblings, Joseph, William and Agnes. Services: Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM on Saturday at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Hellertown. Viewing will be from 7-9 PM on Friday; and from 8:30-9:30 AM on Saturday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main Street, Hellertown.
