Geraldine V. Norkitis

Geraldine “Gerry” Norkitis, 80, of Upper Salford Township, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Edward “Ed” Norkitis. They celebrated 56 years of marriage in August. Born in Swoyersville, PA, she was a daughter of Henry and Jennie Volack. Gerry received a BSN from Misericordia and was a Nursing Supervisor at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville for 25 years. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg. Surviving with her husband is her daughter, Jacqueline wife Jan Petery of Schwenksville, and her son Michael and his wife Arlene of Portland, Oregon; her grandchildren: Brooke, wife of Dylan Kohutka, Stephanie and Tyler Petery, and Annelise Norkitis. She is also survived by a brother: Richard Volack and his wife Laura. She was predeceased by another brother, Robert Volack. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM on Monday, January 4, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd. Pennsburg, PA 18073.
