Geraldine Theresa Deily

Geraldine “Gerry” Deily, 90, of Andreas and formerly of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29th, 2023. She was the wife of the late DeForrest Deily. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Julia (Szabo) Mitch. Geraldine worked for Durkee’s in Bethlehem for 20 years on the assembly line. She loved playing card games, especially with her grandchildren; and playing bingo. She loved animals and spending time with her family who were very important to her. She made many memories with her family over the years as an avid camper.

She is survived by her children, Geraldine “Terri” Minchin with whom she resided, Lisa Deily and her fiancée Joseph Barner, of Allentown, DeForrest “Jimmy” Deily Jr. and his wife Brenda of Danielsville, and George Deily and his partner, Susan Adams of Coplay; grandchildren: Ralph Daniel, Megan Johnson, and Jessica Testani; great grandchildren: Kaylee Johnson, and Lucas Johnson; and her sister, Jean Gresh. She was predeceased by her siblings: Julia "Toots" Schott, Antoinette "Dolly" Mitch, Anthony "Sonny" Mitch, and Joseph "Joe" Mitch.

Family and friends may call from 9:00 am. with a celebration of Geraldine’s life at 10:00 am on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Kingdom Family Life Center, 4333 Lime Kiln Rd. Orefield, PA. She will be laid to rest in Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem following the church service.
