Gerald Gabel

Gerald D. "Buck" Gabel, 82, of Pennsburg, passed away December 9, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Katherine Jean (Heins) Gabel. Born in Boyertown, he was a son of the late Clifford and Margaret (Bartzer) Gabel. He was a facilities manager for Knoll, East Greenville, retiring in 1994. Gerald was a member of Pennsburg United Church of Christ. He was a former Pennsburg Tax Collector and Borough Council member. Surviving with his wife, is a son, Dana, of Jersey Shore, PA; a brother, John, and his wife, Linda, of East Greenville; grandchildren: Derick, Michelle, and Douglas; and great-grandchildren: Elias, Miya, Tiara, and Damien. He was pre-deceased by sons, Drew and Dale. Memorial Services will be at 11AM on Friday at Pennsburg UCC, 775 Main Street, Pennsburg. Friends may call from 10:30-11 at the church.
