Gerald Thomas Cunningham

Gerald Thomas Cunningham age 59, of Pennsburg, and formerly Bethlehem, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital, Quakertown on Thursday, February 9, 2012, after an extended illness.

Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Thomas and Charmaine (Levan) Cunningham of Bethlehem.

He was an electrician by trade.

Gerald will be greatly missed by his family, his many friends, and those he considered his extended family at American House, in Pennsburg, where he had resided for several years.

He is survived by his daughter Melanie, wife of Ernest W. Leister II, of Pennsburg; his sister, Reverend Sally Ann Longfellow, wife of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, of Ontario, Canada; grandchildren: Tyler Ambrose, Lance, Nicholas and Brody Leister, of Pennsburg; nieces Amanda and Allison Longfellow of Ontario, Canada. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna (Schultz) Cunningham.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
