George Hilbert

George W. “Spundy” Hilbert, 83, of Hellertown, died October 29, 2009. He was the husband of the late Viola (Konald) Hilbert who died in 2007. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late George W. Sr., and Louise (Egener) Hilbert. He worked as a lineman for the borough of Quakertown for 33 years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of St. George Episcopal Church, Hellertown. George is survived by sons: George III and his wife Linda of Williams Twp. And Randy and his wife Mary Ann of Bethlehem Twp; daughters: Diane wife of Patrick Oechsle of Wassergass, Beverly wife of Michael Verno of Lower Saucon Twp., and Tammy wife of Mark Davis of Hellertown; brother: Ellsworth of WA; sisters: Stella Adams of FL and Viola Heiney of Coopersburg; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Frederick and a sister Arlene. Services: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 3, at the Falk Funeral Home & Crematory, 1418 Main Street, Hellertown.
