George James Cole

George J. Cole, 73, of Bethlehem, passed away on August 9, 2024. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late James and Rosemary (Clark) Cole. George was a Highway Maintenance Manager for PennDOT for many years. He was predeceased by his loving wife Andrea (Oravec) Cole.

He is survived by his children: Mary Fredette and her husband, Christopher, Wendy Schlappich and her husband, Darrin, Jennifer Morgan and her husband, Eric, Marylou Young and her husband, Gary; grandchildren: Madison, Colin, Mariella, Jeffrey, Nicole, Kristi, Jay; great grandchildren: Kassandra, Madelyn, Lainie, and Natalie; and nephews: Christopher and Sean. He was predeceased by his brother: John Cole.
