Gene Majoros, 81, of Quakertown, died December 13, 2008. He was the husband of Marian (Bartholomew) Majoros. Born in Farmington, PA, he was a son of the late Bela and Elizabeth (Majoros) Majoros. He was a carpenter, last working for Kelly Construction as a Pennsylvania Certified Journeyman Carpenter before retiring in 1990. He was an Army veteran and served in the Merchant Marines. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Quakertown. He enjoyed gardening and cooking. Surviving with his wife, is a son, Neil, and his wife, Michele, of Quakertown; a daughter, Brenda Jean Majoros, of Los Osos, CA; 5 grandchildren: William, Buffie, Callie, Lars, and Jenny; 2 step-grandsons, William and Christian Egan, and 2 great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Kaitlyn. He was pre-deceased by a son, Robin Lee; and siblings: Steven, Edward, John, Margaret Elizabeth, and Rose Mary. Memorial Services will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 10 E. Broad Street, Quakertown. Call at the church from 10 a.m. until services. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc, Hellertown, is in charge of arrangements.
