Gene Majoros

Gene Majoros, 81, of Quakertown, died December 13, 2008. He was the husband of Marian (Bartholomew) Majoros. Born in Farmington, PA, he was a son of the late Bela and Elizabeth (Majoros) Majoros. He was a carpenter, last working for Kelly Construction as a Pennsylvania Certified Journeyman Carpenter before retiring in 1990. He was an Army veteran and served in the Merchant Marines. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Quakertown. He enjoyed gardening and cooking. Surviving with his wife, is a son, Neil, and his wife, Michele, of Quakertown; a daughter, Brenda Jean Majoros, of Los Osos, CA; 5 grandchildren: William, Buffie, Callie, Lars, and Jenny; 2 step-grandsons, William and Christian Egan, and 2 great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Kaitlyn. He was pre-deceased by a son, Robin Lee; and siblings: Steven, Edward, John, Margaret Elizabeth, and Rose Mary. Memorial Services will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 10 E.
