Gary M. Ace

Gary M. Ace, 72, of Bethlehem, passed away on September 18, 2026, at St. Luke's Fountain Hill Campus.

Gary was born on June 7, 1954, in Bethlehem, PA, to the late William and Geraldine (Jacoby) Ace. He married the love of his life, Laura Ace, on August 19, 1993, and together they shared more than 33 wonderful years of marriage.

Gary proudly served in the United States Air Force and carried that pride with him throughout his life. He began his career as a chef at the Hotel Bethlehem, where he found great enjoyment in cooking and creating meals for others. A natural handyman, Gary was skilled at just about anything he put his hands to and was always willing to tackle various jobs or lend his talents to a project.

At his core, Gary was a man who found joy in the outdoors and in the simple things that made life meaningful. He loved fishing, hunting, playing guitar, and listening to music, especially The Beatles. He especially enjoyed looking up at the night sky, spending time stargazing and keeping track of upcoming meteor showers to enjoy with his family. Gary was also a devoted Green Bay Packers fan and proudly followed his team through victories and losses. These interests and passions were deeply woven into who Gary was and brought him countless moments of enjoyment throughout his life.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Laura; his daughter, Katie Ace; his son, Zac Ace; a brother, Steve Ace; as well as many more friends and family members who will miss him deeply.

Gary is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service at Wesley United Methodist Church, 2540 Center St, Bethlehem, PA 18017, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2026. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the Church until 5 p.m.. Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Falk Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc.
