Franklin Chunko

November 8, 1932 — June 16, 2013

Franklin R. “Pint” Chunko, 80, of Hellertown, passed away June 16, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor (Ihrig) Chunko. Born in Hellertown, he was a son of the late John and Helen (Limpar) Chunko. He was a Loss Control Manager for Canon-Sline, in Phila. before retiring in 1996. Recently, he was a starter at Tumblebrook Golf Course. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Pint enjoyed his family and was an avid golfer. He was a member of the Dewey Fire Co., the American Legion, Hellertown, the F&AM, and was a lifetime member of the Saucon Valley Com-munity Center. Surviving: wife; children: William “Rocky” (Cathy); & Franklin “Rusty”(Sandy), both of Hellertown; and Terry (Kevin) Murphy, of Bethlehem; Sister: Susan Lysek, of Doylestown; 5 grandchildren: Benjamin (Kelly), Jenelle, Shane, Andrew, and Nicholas; and 3 great-grandchildren: Carter, Gavin, & Luke. He was pre-deceased by brothers, George & John. Services: Private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hellertown.
