Frank Vehafric

Frank Vehafric, 93, of S. Hoffert St., Fountain Hill, died February 6, 2012. He was the widower of Dorothy (Leiderman) Vehafric. Born in Salisbury Twp, he was a son of the late Johnny and Elizabeth (Ispovich) Vehafric. He was a retired Major from the US Air Force, serving in both WWII and Korea. He was employed at the former Bethlehem Steel for over 40 years. He was a founder of the Lehigh Valley Quarter Midget Racing Club, and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Assn. Surviving are children: Frank Vehafric Jr, and his wife, Emily, of Oregon; John Vehafric, and his wife, Renee, of Walnutport, and Becky Lowe, of Hellertown, and 6 grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by siblings: Johnny, Charles, and Elizabeth. Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hellertown, is in charge of arrangements.
