Frank H. Leeland, 92, formerly of Zionsville, Tunkhannock, and Warrington, died March 28, 2013 at the Lutheran Home in Topton. He was the husband of Ruth (Flavell) Leeland. The couple was married 68 years last August. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Frank and Helen (Herb) Leeland. Frank was a self employed builder and real estate salesman in the Bucks County area for many years. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed writing commentaries for local newspapers, including the Morning Call, the Intelligencer, and the New Age Examiner. Frank enjoyed riding horses and constructing carriages that he used to give rides at weddings, fairs and other community events. Surviving with his wife, are children: Frank, of Ft. Pierce, FL; Linda, wife of Jerry Elie, of Kutztown; and David, and his wife Dawn, of Leesport; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marian Evans, of Maryland. He was pre-deceased by siblings Helen Williams and John Leeland. Memorial Services will be at 1 PM on Sunday, April 14th, at Grace Evangelical Congregational Church , 7663 Buhman Road, Zionsville. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the church.
