Frank Galassi

Frank G. Galassi, 70, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Janice (Bachman) Galassi and they would have celebrated 48 years of marriage on February 4th. Born in Montone, Italy, he was a son of the late Alfonso and Filomena (Troia) Galassi. He graduated from Lebanon Catholic High School and attended Kutztown University. He was a mechanic and Assistant Transportation Supervisor for the Bethlehem Area School District for over 30 years before retiring in 2009. Prior to becoming Assistant Transportation Supervisor he was a member of Teamsters Union Local 773. He was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Lehigh Valley, and was also an avid bowler. Frank was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was dedicated to his family. Surviving with his wife are his children: Gina, wife of John Stephens of Poughkeepsie, NY, Rachel Galassi of Wilkes Barre, and Taylor Galassi of Bethlehem; and three grandchildren: Elias and Amalia Work and Tessa Miorelli.
