Francis Sofka

Francis "Frank" Joseph Sofka Jr., 80, of Hellertown, passed away January 8, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Loretta (Christ) Sofka. Born in Hellertown, he was a son of the late Francis Joseph Sofka Sr. and the late Bertha (Check) Sofka. He served his country honorably in the Army during peacetime. Frank attended Moravian College and went on to be a salesman for various companies in the Lehigh Valley, including Kraft Foods, Crowder Jr. and Wood Heat. Frank enjoyed golfing and woodworking. He enjoyed attending the Saucon Valley Community Center. Surviving with his wife, is a son: Brad Jay Sofka, and his wife, Stephanie, of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Sala & Kaleigh; and brothers: Thomas Sofka, and his wife, Joanne, of Hellertown; and Joseph Sofka, and his wife, Cindy, of New Jersey. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Theresa Nonnemaker. Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hellertown, is in charge of arrangements.
