Frances Jacobs (Marley)

Frances M. “Franie” Jacobs, 78, of East Greenville, passed away October 21, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Thomas C. Jacobs. They were married 56 years this past May. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late James and Frances (Linus) Marley. She was a proud graduate of the Academy of Sisters of Mercy. Franie was the General Manager of the Knoll Employee Credit Union for 39 years. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Bally.

Surviving with her husband, are children: Theresa, wife of Robert Besecker Jr. , of Dallas, PA; Thomas Jacobs, and his wife, Debbora, of Reading; Carolyn, wife of Jarrod Dubble, of Lehighton; and Mary Ellen, wife of Patrick Maloney, of Boyertown; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was pre-deceased by her parents; siblings: James and Robert Marley and Geraldine Breslin; and a granddaughter, Cecilia Besecker.

A Celebration of Life (for Knoll past & present employees) will be on Sunday from 2-4PM at the Lubin Cafeteria on the Knoll campus in East Greenville. A calling period will be from 8:00-9:45 AM on Monday, October 29th at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally, followed by Mass at 10 AM. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
