Forrest E. Allebach, 86, of the Frederick Community, and formerly of Pennsburg, passed away May 13, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Joyce (Blank) Allebach. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary last June. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Forrest E. and Margaret (Lee) Allebach. Forrest was a funeral director, serving the Ott Funeral Home, Boyertown for 28 years. Prior to that, he worked for the Hoffman Funeral Home in East Greenville and he was a Sturgis Pretzel Delivery Driver. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Red Hill. Forrest was also a member of Perkiomen Lodge #595, F.&A.M., the East Greenville Fire Company, and Owl’s Nest #1302 in East Greenville. Surviving with his wife, is a daughter, Lynn, wife of John Taylor, of Harleysville; and a son, Brian, and his wife, Jennifer, of East Greenville; a brother, Donald Lee Allebach of Naples, FL; and 7 grandchildren: Landon & Devon Taylor; Peter, Mark, & Jacob Henne; and Katherine & Elizabeth Allebach. Services: 11am on Saturday, May 17th, at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. All are invited to a viewing from 9:30- 11am.
