Floyd Mumbauer

Floyd Mumbauer, 81, of Vera Cruz Road, Emmaus, died August 27, 2007. He was the husband of Elaine (Yocum) Mumbauer. Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Frank and Bertha (Thoms) Mumbauer. He was employed by the former Oakland Nurseries until 1971. He then was a grounds maintenance man for the Quakertown School District until retiring in 1991. He was a member of Trinity Great Swamp UCC, Spinnerstown, the Vera Cruz Senior Center, and the Vera Cruz Fire Co. Surviving with his wife, is a daughter, Pamela, wife of Jeremiah Roeder, of Zionsville; a son, Thomas Yocum, and his wife, Penny, of Orlando, FL; Grandchildren, Jerome Roeder, and his wife, Connie, of Virginville; and Tomas M. Yocum, of Florida; and 2 great-grandchildren: Josh & Dillon, and nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by 15 siblings: Victor, Woodrow, Leroy, Marvin, Vincent, Lester, Abner, Linwood, Paul, Pearl, Erma, Sadie, Irene, and 2 infant sisters. Services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, Sept 4, 2007 at Trinity Great Swamp UCC. Friends may call on Monday from 7-9 PM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 163 Main Street, Pennsburg; and from 10-11 AM on Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
